Billy C. Davis

imageBilly C. Davis Jr is a native of Dallas, Texas.  He graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School in 1987 and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Prairie View A&M in 1991. 

His professional career began in manufacturing at Westvaco Inc, Envelope Division.  In 1996, he joined Nokia Inc., pursuing a career in telecommunications.  In his 18 year career with Nokia, Mr. Davis has served in various roles, including Production Manager, Product

Manager, RF Design Engineer, Project Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager. 
Over the course of his career, Mr. Davis’ expertise of mobile infrastructure has allowed him to support major North American mobile operators inclusive of AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular and other global carriers.

He has a strong desire to help students discover their passion and dreams, whether through the pathway of college or other positive avenues. His desire is for students to see college as an option that is available to them no matter their economic status. 

Billy continues to help raise much needed scholarship dollars through his local alumni chapter, for his beloved university Prairie View A&M.  He strongly believes in giving back to those institutions that gave so much to him and others.  He hopes to inspire other alumni to come to the forefront and contribute towards the great academic and athletic legacy of our university.
Mr. Davis currently serves as President of the Prairie View A&M University-Dallas Alumni Chapter, and is a board member of the Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association.
He is an active member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, where he serves in the Men’s Ministry, as a member of its Men’s Counsel. 

Billy and his wife Tonja are the proud parents of two sons, Myles and Billy III.
