- Why does the Foundation need operational donations?

The Prairie View A&M Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation requiring staff and infrastructure to perform its mission. The Foundation requires support in accounting, web site management, audit and controls, donor communication, contract review and fund-raising expenses. Programs and activities of the Foundation are funded by donations and income earned on investment capital. In-kind and monetary gifts are accepted from individuals, corporations and other foundations.
