Since 1876, our mission has been focused on providing high caliber educational opportunities. Prairie View A&M University has noted programs in engineering, education, business, agriculture, nursing, juvenile justice, architecture and the natural sciences. Over the years, we have charted a new path with increased enrollment, introduced cutting-edge technology, developed new course offerings and expanded our campus with several state-of-the-art buildings.

Indeed, it is the collective efforts of our faculty, staff, alumni and students that allow us to stand as a beacon of light and equip thousands of men and women in their pursuit of knowledge and self-affirmation.
