We are thrilled to share the news of the official inauguration of our ninth president, Dr. Tomikia P. LeGrande.  On the evening of Friday, March 22, 2024 we will commemorate this occasion with the inaugural PVAMU Presidential Scholarship Gala in her honor, with former PVAMU panther and celebrated songstress, Terry Ellis, serving as our honorary chair.  The event, will take place at the Westin Houston - Memorial City where we will come together to enjoy an evening of dinner and cocktails, entertainment, and inspiring stories of our students, all for the benefit of our outstanding PVAMU students.

The Scholarship Gala will enable us to showcase our collective support for the promising leaders of tomorrow as they seek opportunity to learn and develop from our world class institution of higher education and research.  As the fifteenth largest producer of diverse undergraduates nation-wide, it is our goal to secure more of the scholarship funding that is necessary to support our growing body of over 9,000 students.  Investments such as this, by supporters like you, serve as the basis of our students' continued footprints on tomorrow's workforce and society.
