Jon Dodson is the Director of Advancement Services & Operations for Prairie View A&M Foundation. He began with the Foundation in August of 2019 and brings 15 years of non-profit experience with him.

Dodson is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and staff. He ensures the efficient and effective operations and coordination of all issues affecting the daily operations of the office. Additionally, Dodson assists in the philanthropic outreach of the Foundation through event coordination and administration, direct mail appeals, online appeals, and capital campaigns.

Before coming to PVAMF, Dodson was the Director of Advancement for Habitat for Humanity Kerr County. During his tenure at Habitat, he oversaw Advancement Services, Volunteer and Family Services, and performed as the Office Manager.

Additionally, Dodson served as the Database Administrator for Arms of Hope. He maintained a Raiser’s Edge database of over 90,000 donors and prospects. Dodson specialized in customized executive reporting.

Aside from non-profit work, Dodson has also served as the Business Manager/Operations Manager for three separate Sam’s Clubs in Oklahoma and Maryland.
