Jason Sowers, a Houston, Texas native, brings over 20 years of experience in public accounting and business advisory.  He is the Founder and President of Sowers & Company, PC, a Certified Public Accounting firm that provides professional and personalized service related to Tax Management, Consulting, and Compliance for small-to-medium sized companies, as well as high income and high net-worth individuals and families.  Jason is a 1997 graduate of The University of Texas – Austin, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting – emphasis in Tax.  Jason began his professional career at Arthur Andersen where he worked in the Private Client Services group and achieved the role of “Manager” in less than 4 years.  Jason left Arthur Andersen in 2001, where he pursued other opportunities which eventually led him to start his own firm in 2006.  He was recognized three consecutive years in Texas Monthly magazine as a Top Wealth Advisor in the Houston area, and currently serves on several boards for organizations that benefit children locally and internationally.
